Tennessee Telemarketer Do Not Call List
The State of Tennessee maintains a list where you can specify that you do not wish to receive solicitation calls from telemarketers. For more information or to sign up, visit their web site at http://www2.state.tn.us/tra/nocall.htm or call 1-877-872-7030 toll free.
Federal Do Not Call List
The Federal government now has a Telemarketer Do Not Call List. You can list your number (land line and cell phone) on their list by visiting: http://www.donotcall.gov
Tennessee Do Not Fax Law
The State of Tennessee has a program to prevent your getting unwanted faxes. You do not have to sign up. Instead, people who send you unsolicited faxes must provide you with a toll-free number where you can fax back your request to be removed.
