We want this web site to be a community resource for the people of
Red Boiling Springs. We want every business, industry, church, school, fraternal
organization, community service organization, government entity, etc. to be
listed.
To try to offset the expenses of running the web, we charge a small fee for
business who want to be listed and/or do advertising on a web page all their own.
Here is our fee schedule as of September, 2002.
Non-profit organizations -- Free
Schools, churches, government, fraternal organizations, community service
organizations, etc.: No charge. Any of these organizations may also have a free
web page if they like. (Note: if your non-profit organization is routinely
selling a product or service, we may ask you to list as a Business. See below.)

Business Listing
A business listing would be the name of the business, address, and
telephone number under the appropriate category (ies) on the business page
with a link that says "Click Here for More Information" which would take
you to a web page of your own. The heading of your web page would contain
your business name, address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, and
store hours.
The business web page may also contain:
Text.
Picture.
Clipart.
A link to another web site that that business operates (if applicable).
When printed, all of the above should fit onto two 8-1/2 x 11 sheets of paper.
If you like, we will be glad to help you create text for your web page. We can
also take digital photos of your business.
The cost for the above is $30 per month. (We offer a substantial discount if
you'll pay for a year at one time ... it saves a whole lot of paperwork, time
and trees!)

Tips on Formatting a Web Page on this Site
For consistency, all data on your web page must conform to the same format as
the rest of the www.RedBoilingSpringsTN.com web site (i.e., you'll have a title at
the top and the same kind of background as every other page.)
No offensive material of any kind is permitted on the web site.
You may send text or digital photos for use on your web page to us via e-mail or
via floppy disk. We like .gif and .jpg photos.
If you like, you may mail us regular photos which we will scan. We will return
the photos to you. However, we cannot be responsible for photos that might
get lost of damaged in the mail.
We are glad to pick up stuff from you at your store/office in town.
If you are sending digital photos, please send "small" ones. We cannot publish
any photo with a file size greater than 50kB. If we put a photo bigger than this
on a web page, it makes the web page far too slow to display.
Your web page must consist of fairly static data. Example: it cannot contain
weekly specials or something like that. We will be glad to make minor changes
from time to time (e.g., business hours change in the summer, new phone number,
etc.). (If you do want weekly specials or something like that, we can probably
do that for a small additional fee!)
We cannot use a photo or clipart that is copyrighted unless we have the proper
copyright
release.
